This Walkaroo World Cup Prediction Contest (hereinafter referred to as “The Contests ”)is a free sales promotional event for the registered users of http://www.walkaroo.in/ There is no entry fee or subscription fee or Purchase of any Walkaroo product is neither essential nor prerequisite to participate in the campaign.
The Contests will be held from 20-11-2022 to 18-12-2022.
To participate in the Contests, the participant should be an individual legal resident of the Republic of India, should have a billing address within the territory of India, should be of an age 18 years or above at the time of entry into the Contests and should have a valid proof of identity and age in the form of a copy of PAN Card / Driving License / Voter ID / Indian passport.

Registration for the Contests, In order to register for the Contest(s), Participants are required to accurately provide the following information:
Participants agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information at the time of registration and at all other times (as required by Walkaroo). Participants further agree to update and keep updated their registration information. A Participant shall not register or operate more than one User account in the contest. Participants are also required to confirm that they have read, and shall abide by, these Terms and Conditions.
Participants consent to receiving communications such as announcements, administrative messages and advertisements from Walkaroo or any of its partners, licensors or associates.
Walkaroo World Cup Prediction Contest:
Under the “Walkaroo World Cup Prediction Contest” there will be 64 different contests collectively known as the “Daily Prediction Contests”.
To participate in the Daily Prediction Contest, registered users need to submit correct answers to the questions asked under the respective Daily Prediction Contests to win the respective contest. After the end of every match, 10 points will be awarded for each right prediction submitted by the user. The Participant who cumulatively scores the highest point in a particular Daily Prediction Contest will be announced as the Winner of that Daily Prediction Contest.
In case of a tie between Participants in any of the Daily Prediction Contests, the following criterion will be used to decide the winners:
Cumulative of points scored in the Daily Contests.
If there is a tie after considering 8.III.I., then time of submission of entry will be considered
If there is a tie after considering 8.III.I. and 8.III.II., then referral points till the contest evaluation time will be used to decide the winner.
If there is a tie even after considering 8.III.I., 8.III.II. and 8.III.III., then the award(s) will be equally distributed among such Participants
One user can submit only one entry per “Walkaroo World Cup Prediction Contest”.
Walkaroo Mega Contest:
There is no separate participation required for “Walkaroo Mega Contest”. Winner(s) of “Walkaroo Mega Contest” will be selected based on the cumulative points gained in all the Daily Prediction Contests.
In case of a tie between the Participants, the following criterions shall be used to decide the winner:
Total number of daily contests participated by such Participants.
If tie exists after considering 9.II.I. then total number of people referred by such Participants will be considered.
If tie exists even after considering 9.II.I. and 9.II.II, then the value of the award(s) will be equally distributed among such Participants.
Walkaroo Weekly Referral Contest:
To participate in the “Walkaroo Weekly Referral Contest”, the registered Participants need to refer the Contests to their friends through various social media platforms/messaging apps/ text messages etc.
The Inviter and Invitee will get 5 points each when the Invitee joins the Contests and participate in at least one of the contests. 10% of the point gained by the Invitee in the contests will be credited to the user account of the Inviter as bonus points. The Inviter will not get bonus points from the Invitee’s referrals.
The cumulative of Prediction points, referral points and bonus points earned in a week (from Monday to Sunday) will be considered for the Walkaroo Weekly Referral Contest.
In case of a tie between the Participants, the following criterions shall be used to decide the winner:
Total number of persons referred under the Contests.
If there is a tie after considering 10.IV.I, then cumulative of the points gained under the Walkaroo World Cup Daily Prediction Contest will be considered.
If there is a tie even after considering 10.IV.I and 10.IV.II, then the award(s) will be equally distributed among such Participants.
The referral points and bonus points will not be considered for the Walkaroo World Cup Daily Prediction Contest.
The referral points and bonus points will not be considered for the Walkaroo World Cup Daily Prediction Contest and Walkaroo World Cup Mega Prediction Contest.
The winners of each contest will be announced within 48 hours after the end of each contest. The Participants can view the points gained from each contest and cumulative points on User Dashboard.
The Contests described above are games of skill as success of users depends primarily on their superior knowledge of the games of Football. By participating in the Contests, each Participant acknowledges and agrees that he/she is participating in a game of skill.
By participating in the Contests, the participant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Terms and Conditions as well as the decisions of Walkaroo, which shall be final and binding in all matters related to this contest.
Walkaroo retains the sole authority and discretion of determining the quantity of the awards being given during the duration of the contest period.
Related Parties as defined u/s 2(76) of the Companies Act, 2013 will not be eligible for awards above value Rs.50,000 under the “Walkaroo Mega World Cup Prediction Contest”, “Walkaroo Mega Referral Contest” and the “Walkaroo Final Bumper World Cup Prediction Contest”
The winners of the awards shall be required to take delivery of the awards or complete the formalities relating to the delivery of the awards to the satisfaction of Walkaroo within 30 days from the date of receipt of information from Walkaroo.
The winners will be communicated via emails/SMS/call by Walkaroo or its agencies on the credentials shared.
All awards will be handed over to the winners against due acknowledgment of winner’s identity.
Walkaroo reserves the right to alter, modify or change any terms and conditions herein or modify/change, discontinue, terminate, withdraw the contest at any time during the Contest period at its sole discretion without prior notice or assigning any reason.
Photos shown herein are indicative. If any item notified is unavailable in market during reward distribution, Walkaroo will replace the respective item with a similar item comparable in terms of value.
All awards are non-transferable and non-refundable. Awards cannot be exchanged / redeemed for cash or kind. No cash claims can be made in lieu of awards in kind
Walkaroo will not reimburse / pay for any expenses incurred by the Participants for promoting the Contests or referring other people to the contest or advertisement of any kind.
Walkaroo shall not be liable/responsible for any defect in any of the awards indicated, however guarantee or warranty of the product shall be transferred as received from the concerned manufacturer or distributor.
This Contest is subject to all prevailing tax laws. Any tax liability in connection with the receipt from Walkaroo under the contests shall remain with the Participant and cannot be claimed from Walkaroo.
All awards exceeding the value of INR 10,000/- are subject to Withholding taxes u/s 194B of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
Walkaroo reserves the right to reject the points and/or take legal action on any benefits seen derived from fraudulent actions of tampering with IT systems.
The decision of Walkaroo will be final and binding with respect to the Contests and the awards therein and no correspondence, objection, complaints, etc. will be entertained in this regard.
In the event any Participant breaches, or Walkaroo reasonably believes that such Participant has breached these Terms and Conditions, or has illegally or improperly used the contest, Walkaroo may, at its sole and absolute discretion, and without any notice to the Participant, restrict, suspend or terminate such Participant’s access to all or any part of contests or its platform, deactivate or delete the Participant’s account and all related information on the account, delete any content posted by the Participant on the contest and further, take technical and legal steps as it deems necessary. The Participant shall also become ineligible for any awards won in the Contests.
The courts of competent jurisdiction at Coimbatore shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any and all disputes arising out of, or in connection with, the Contests, the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions, or the rights and obligations of the Participants, as well as the exclusive jurisdiction to grant interim or preliminary relief in case of any dispute. All such issues and questions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws prevalent in India.
